With there being many tourists coming to Tenerife they have constructed a theme park. It is called Parque Martimo. This is a sprawling marine-themed park featuring two salt water swimming pools, a black-sand cove, gymnasium, day-care centre, and various restaurants and cafes. There are plenty of things to do there and for all age groups. You will all be able to have a very enjoyable day out. The weather in Tenerife is terrific. It rarely goes below 15ºc and the sun shines about 300 days of the year. This makes all of these water activities possible through out the year
However if theme parks aren’t your things then maybe you would prefer to head over to the beach and spend time there. There are many beaches in Tenerife and there are some exceptionally beautiful beaches in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. One of the most picturesque in San Andres is that of Playa de Las Teresitas. Its sand is actually sand from the Sahara desert itself. The beach has been extended to a length of 1.5 kilometres and has been improved with lush vegetation. There are very good facilities for beach-goers.
And if all of this isn’t enough for you then you should definitely visit Tenerife during their festivals. The festivals in Tenerife are so colourful and are always full of joy and energy. This is one aspect of Tenerife that is a definite must see.
