Tenerife is part of the Canary Islands, it is the largest of the Canary Islands and as an island it is of course surrounded by the ocean. And with the sea are the glorious beaches of Tenerife. Santa Cruz is the capital of Tenerife and it is home to many beaches. Playa de Las Teresitas is one of the more popular beaches in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Its sand is actually sand from the Sahara desert itself. The beach has been extended to a length of 1.5 kilometers and has been improved with lush vegetation. The weather is Tenerife is warm all year round. The temperatures rarely drop below 15ºc and they don’t tend to soar too high so that you feel uncomfortable.
However if the beach isn’t your thing, there is plenty else to do on your stay to San Andres. There is the Auditorio de Tenerife which is a very good place to go and visit. The Tenerife Auditorium is the work of the late Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. It hosts a variety of different types of performances that will leave you begging for more.
