Puerto de la Cruz beaches
Puerto de la Cruz is part of Tenerife, the Canary Islands. The Canary Islands are situated just off the north coast of Africa. Because of its situation the weather is warm all year round making it a perfect climate for going to the beach.
The major attraction of Puerto de la Cruz is the Lago de Martianez complex, also known as Lido or San Telmo. In this resort, there are no less than eight swimming pools, three of them being children's pools.

| The sheer size of Lago de Martianez ensures that it never gets too crowded, even in height of vacation season. All sorts of important amenities and services are also available, and the Cafe Columbus, one of the most popular restaurants in town, can be found in Lago de Martianez.
Playa ( beach ) Martianez is a small beach right next to Lago de Martianez. It offers excellent views along the coast.
The Playa de San Telmo lies close to the Casas Consistoriales and the convent of San Pedro Gonzalez Telmo. This beach features natural rock pools.
From Puerto Pesquero, the town's main fishing port, it is a short walk along the sea wall to Playa Jardin. The beach features a waterfall, playing ground for children, and a restaurant.
