Arona-Los Cristianos

Los Cristianos is a resort in the municipality of Arona, on the southern tip of Tenerife , the largest of the Canary Islands. Unlike its busier and more crowded neighbour, Playa de Las Americas, Los Cristianos has maintained some semblance of the quiet fishing village it once was; in and around the town, visitors can still find buildings built in the traditional architecture typical of the Canary Islands. That's where the resemblance ends, however. Today, Los Cristianos is a bustling tourist town and resort. It attracts a good number of visitors each year, making it one of the most popular resorts in Tenerife and the second largest resort in southern Tenerife , next to Playa de Las Americas.

It is no wonder that it is so popular. Los Cristianos has some of the most amazing beaches in Tenerife. Not all are natural but it has been agreed that some of the man mad beaches are the best. Because Los Cristianos is blessed with warm weather throughout the year, these beaches get plenty of use. Not only that but there are many activities that you can participate in whilst you are in Los Cristianos.
