Tenerife is an island that is part of the Canary Islands. The Canary Islands are situated just off the north coast of Africa. Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands and it also is the most visited. Las Galletas is a tiny fishing village and tourist resort in the municipality of Arona, on Tenerife. Arona occupies the southern edge of Tenerife, covering about 82 square kilometers of land area. Las Galletas is situated between the resort of Los Cristianos and the Reina Sofia Airport.
