Icod de Los Vinos is known as the place where the oldest dragon tree can be found. The dragon tree is a species that is native, but not endemic, to the Canary Islands. The Icod tree, named Drago de Icod, is said to be hundreds of years old, but the exact age has yet to be determined. It is also a regarded as a monument and symbol of the town. This tree is set in the Parque del Drago. This park has become famous for this tree. However this is not the only park that there is in Icod de los Vinos. There is the Cueva del Viento ( Cave of the Wind ).
