Icod de los Vinos beaches
When you are on an island like Tenerife you will find that you are never far from a beach. In Icod de los vinos there is a gorgeous beach called Playa San Marcos. Playa San Marcos is one of the most attractive and picturesque beaches in Tenerife. It is friendly and therefore a perfect choice for all the family: definitely is child friendly. The sea is a lot safer there than in many other beaches as the pier protects many of the strong currents from getting into the bay.
Tenerife has a wonderful climate with temperatures being a moderate 15ºc in the winter and on average 25ºc in the summer.

This means that there are plenty of sunny days for you to make use of the beaches whether it be for sunbathing, sports or just for an evening stroll.
With this being such a wonderful beach there are many visitors to the area and for that reason there are many places to stay. There are hostels, hotels, bed and breakfasts and you are even able to rent apartments and houses should you so wish. There is something to suit every budget and taste.
As well as having the beach here you are also able to pass the time in one of the beautiful parks that Icod de los Vinos has to offer. There are many different and interesting parks around each with there own history behind them. These make a very pleasant day strolling around.
