Candelaria Tenerife

On the southeast coast of Tenerife is Candelaria, a town of nearly 50 square kilometres. Candelaria, also known as La Virgen de Candelaria, is 25 kilometres from Santa Cruz de Tenerife. This coastal town, with a population of about 17.000 people and known for its fishing tradition, has managed to combine authenticity with modernity. Every year the town increases with a 1.000 inhabitants. It is also worthwhile visiting the surrounding towns.
