Adeje Tenerife

Adeje is a municipality in the south west of Tenerife. Tenerife is an island that is part of a group of islands called the Canary Islands. They are all situated just off the north coast of Africa. This means that Tenerife has a wonderfully warm climate all year round. In Adeje the sun shines around 300 days a year and the temperature rarely drops below 16ºc making the climate pleasurable all year round.

In February there is a big festival that the Spanish celebrate called Carnival. This is a colourful festival with lots of singing, dancing, music, food and drink. The festivities start in the morning and continue until the early hours of the following day! With the temperature being so warm it is an enjoyable week as you are able to enjoy the festivities in a comfortable temperature.
