Garachico
Founded in 1496, it is still a kind and beauty place and wonderul serenity. The most remarkable of this small town is the respect and conservation of historical streets and buildings. Garachico was the main seaport of the island until 1706 when it was destroyed by giant volcanic eruption. Today Garachico shows with proud to the visitor the heritage of its brilliant past, and a long visit of spectacular places to visit.
The landscape of Garachico is also gorgeous, surrounded by numerous and natural places. Its coast, of 6 kilometres long, is an authentic wonder of nature. From El Guincho to la Caleta de Interin, are emerged plenty of coves, covered with volcanic sands, that show the singular geological origin of these lands.
