Tenerife North-East Area

The north-east part of the island is particularly gorgeous by a pair of unique sites: one is the historic city of LA LAGUNA, pretty monumental location, where historic and old buildings are abundant, it is characteristic by its cultural and university environment.

The city of LA LAGUNA, is surrounded by the spectacular sierra of Anaga by one side, being open at the south side by the two island free-ways. The international airport of LOS RODEOS is very closed located, being LA LAGUNA one of the best communicated places of the island. Another fantastic place of the north-east part is the area known as BAJAMAR-PUNTA DEL HIDALGO, quite and relaxing, offers the comer a healthy and charming landscape next to the ocean. There is also a fisherman town of great natural beauty, being a magnificent model of old town culturally adapted to the new ages.
